C-House: User Reviews
Innovative and very good. Kind of expensive. You need a reservation even if they appear not to be busy.

We ate at C-House on a Monday night for our first time and loved it. Every course was delicious and creative gems for the pallet. We thought the service was professional and well trained. The decor was beautiful and the restaurant oozed with a hip South Beach/NYC pulse!
Report This ReviewJust had lunch there with a party of 5 (no pun on the tv show intended). Excellent food and great service. Excellent oysters, particularly since they are out of season, and the "Candy Bar" is not to be missed.
Report This ReviewWe had a lovely meal at C-house. The place was half empty on a Sunday evening, surprisingly. The room was modern, but comfortable. Service was very slow, but knowledgeable and competant. The selections from the raw bar and the small plates menu were delicious (and considerably better than the entrees, sides and desserts).
We especially liked the fish taco from the raw bar and the risotto. The whole roast fish was bland, even with the so-so accompanying sauces. For dessert, we got a few selections of mini desserts. Some were interesting, but not terrific (especially since each little bite is $3 - it adds up!). Wine list had a lot of great selections and was not overpriced. Not sure if this place hasn't gotten enough hype yet- it definitely deserves to be more crowded (although I'm not complaining!).
What you C is not what you get at this restaurant. My friends and I where happy with the service and atmosphere. The meal was totally disappointing. The fish lacked flavor as did the rest of the meals. This was going to be our new neighborhood restaurant. It won't be. We might return for drinks and appetizers. The chef needs more than his reputation to make it in this town.
Report This ReviewThis was our first and possibly last C-House experience. The food was great. Our big problem was we were there for a lunch meeting, our server was doing a great job at leaving us to our business, and the management however wouldn't leave us alone! At one point the server came by as one of our guest had to leave for a minute, the server saw we were engaged in conversation and walked away, within a minute, the manager came by interrupted out discussion, folded a napkin and walked away then proceeding to the server, whom he yelled at right on the dining room floor! The server was smart enough to leave us alone, why wasn’t management? This same manager then walked through the dining room on his cell phone about 3 times!
I LOVED the food and the service, the management I feel is a bit bad.
Went to C House for dinner on Saturday night, what a solid experience from start to finish! Warm room, awesome food and friendly service. The hit of the evening were the fish tacos from their raw bar, they should file for a patent on those bad boys! Staff was very friendly and everyone seemed excited about being open (second day). I'll be back soon, already craving those tacos... A must visit of the summer, small dining room so this place is going to be busy!
