Wikstrom's carries all manner of Scandinavian specialties, from the much-feared lutefisk (lye-preserved codfish) to hard-tack bread to gjetost (sweet brown goat cheese). The deli is busy just about any day of the year, but at Christmastime the place is packed (and valet parking is provided). Service is quick and attentive. Want to sit down? You can relax at one of the tables for a cup of superb Swedish coffee, a sandwich (preferably open-face) or a bit of coffeecake. Indeed, lunch at Wikstrom's is one of the best-kept secrets of Andersonville.
