Set above the Fox River near downtown St. Charles, the former Erik & Me has transformed into Sage Bistro. For lunch, expect flavorful salads dotted with roasted pear, candied walnuts, chili-rubbed corn and other flavorful ingredients. Sandwiches range from the classic croque monsieur to lobster salad, and the signature Sage Burger arrives topped with bacon, sauteed mushrooms, swiss, mozzarella and herbed cream cheese. For dinner, we're intrigued by the classed-up versions of American classics, such as chicken-fried steak with wild mushroom demi-glace and bacon-wrapped meat loaf with ancho-spiked ketchup.

Went here to try out something new. Would never come back!! The food was very cheap which was nice. But the service was cheap and non existent!...
