Way way way too expensive

This place is seriously the biggest rip off ever. We paid $20 for two TINY sandwiches. They say the place is named for the size of the sandwiches and that you need two or three for a full meal but that would cost you $50. The two tiny sandwiches were only okay tasting and came with absolutely nothing on the side. The Lil Guys can afford to throw some chips in there. You're better off at Subway.

Overpriced, bad service, okay food

This might be the slowest sub shop I have ever witnessed. There is no urgency with the staff. I don't think they move any slower if it's more or less busy. The food is okay at the best and the prices don't match up to the finished product. I wish it was better but it's hard to spend that much on a sub par product served by someone that could really care less. Go across the street to Nick's!

Tastey Little Sub Shop

I got the meal deal thing, of 2 mini sandwiches, a side and a drink. The meat was excellent and they gave a large portion of the side, which was excellent. I'll be back.

good,but too pricey

I went there with a friend of mine and ordered 2 of their big sandwiches. $8.50 each. Mine was the turkey roast beef on sub roll. It was decent. His was the ruebenesque, which he said was really really good, but that it was so small we could have gotten 2 enormous chicken pita sandwhiches across the street at nick's pit stop for the price of one sandwich. Not worth the value. I remember that was the same when I ordered a mypie pizza too. I'm not looking for a gargantuan sandwich. I'm just looking for some parity here.

$7.00 for a one foot sub, too much money.

I have selfish motives for writing this, my first review -- I want Lil' Guys to stay open and prosper. Fantastic quality sandwiches, soups and smoothies; due primarily to the fresh ingredients and no additives/preservatives approach the restaurant uses. Delicious! Don't compare Lil' Guys to Subway or Quizno's -- this place is as good as the top delis in NY or SF.

So I read the reviews below and most I agree with. I do not agree with the people who say this place is a rip off. It may be a bit more than Subway, Potbelly and Quizno's but who cares when the food is SO much better than everyone else. Bottom line is this place is great and will be around for a long time because there is a need for good food!

You just don't get much...

You just don't get much better than this place. The prices are justified in the quality of the food. I come in once a week for lunch.

the place is (usually) much better than your typical, run of the mill deli...in taste, quality and menu options. it's apparent they use top ingredients and the owner adds his own bit of erudite culinary flare to most menu items. this, of course, is reflected in higher prices which may or may not be justified, depending on which side of the edible fence you stand. for me, it's worth it when times$ allow...I usually hit it up about once a month. Their soup is not to be missed either - if they have it, the shrimp and sweet potato chowder is a must try...the dogs bollox, imo. check it~
