The #1 Chicken Shack keeps it simple: chicken, gizzards and fish and chicken combinations. Chicken wings, along with dark and white combinations, are offered for inexpensive prices. The biggest item under chicken is the bucket of chicken, which costs $12.25. Large and small gizzards, giblet, and large and small livers are offered for prices ranging from $2.90-$3.80. Catfish is offered as well. The catfish and chicken combination, white meat chicken, sells for $5.20; the dark meat chicken version sells for $5. Perch and chicken, white meat chicken, sells for $5; the dark meat chicken version sells for a dime less. Perch by itself, large, sells for $4.95; small perch for $3. The least expensive items here at #1 Chicken Shack are the fried okra and fried mushrooms, which sell for $1.10. There is standing room only here. The area itself is so small that walking outside for a spell while you wait is only natural.
