426 W. Diversey Pkwy. - ChicagoThe folks at Bar1, who run post-college crowd hangs Duffy's and McGee's, hope their beer-drinking revelers will graduate to this this tamer, more upscale bar when they're ready to dabble in higher-end liquor and wine.
Juicy Wine Company
694 N. Milwaukee Ave. - ChicagoHipster wine lovers finally have a place to feel at home. This laidback wine lounge and market offers a retail space downstairs (wine, pate, olives and cheese), with a gourmet deli counter and banquette seating.
BeviAmo Wine Bar
1358 W. Taylor St. - ChicagoThis cute and trendy wine bar in Little Italy is a perfect date place and also draws regulars from the neighborhood looking to learn about and sip wines from all over the world.

505 N. Michigan Ave. - ChicagoWine, chocolate and cheese -- the specialties of the front bar of the Hotel Intercontinental -- make for a powerfully romantic combination.
Webster's Wine Bar
1480 W. Webster Ave. - ChicagoThis unpretentious wine bar offers an intimate atmosphere that's good for conversation. A little east of the Webster Place cinemas, it's a great place to go either before or after a movie. Different regional wines are featured every month, and there's a large by-the-glass selection.
