Went to this place for brunch. Honestly, wasn't crazy about the it and I had heard GREAT things. Our waitress wasn't the greatest. She told me that the one thing that I wanted to order on the menu was "not good". Seemed weird... I guess I appreciated her honesty, but I probably should have just tried for myself. She didn't point out any of the things on the chalkboard so we didn't know if they were or were not available during brunch. We wanted to order the duck fat fries but they weren't serving them. They were out of two things on the menu that we wanted to order as well. Drinks took a long time to arrive at our table. Portions were really small (bristol burger) specifically. That wasn't a problem for me, but my company was not impressed. Duck in a cast iron skill with eggs was delicious. Overall, might try it again but there are way better places in the city that I would go to before. Love the publican... they have the best brunch in the city.

GREAT bartender. The music was too loud--especially for being at a place where communal tables are being pushed--I couldn't hear my friend across the table. The burger was delicious and delicately but appropriately sized.
