Exquisite life transforming café meal!

I am a World Wide Traveller and have enjoyed many exquiste cuisines. In my opnion uptown cafe is the 8th wonder of this world. One's life is not complete unless they have expirienced the life transforming fritata's and the world famous sweet and sour sour cabbage soup. The combination of expidient World Class Customer Care and a tastefull home cooked fritata makes the Uptown Cafe the ultimate expirience. If you are in the Illinois area, Uptown Cafe is a must have!

Treated Like a Favorite Cousin

Eating at Uptown is like being at a family gathering and you are the favorite cousin.
5 Stars.

Before moving always love going there for breakfast or lunch, service was always good, they always treated you like family, plus food was very good. We, have not found a place yet for breakfast that has the same caring staff and owners.
We, miss everyone from Uptown, can't wait for our next visit.

I called this place to find out more information and was treated to all sorts of bad attitude by a teenager working the phones. When I asked for a manager, she put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up, called back a minute later, and she was even more rude.
I tried calling again later in the day and was hung up on after I said who I was.

My family and I have been going to Uptown for several years - either for after-church breakfast, before we have to catch a train, or for a cup of coffee and good conversation. Friendly staff that will remember your name after a few visits, a huge menu with plenty of choices, and never a long wait. One of my favorites!

Every time I have walked into the Uptown Cafe I have been greeted by someone saying Hello, or can I help you .Everyone is friendly they try to make sure your srvice and food are exceptional. I have always been please when I have gone there either by myself (they don't make you feel uncomfortable) or with friends.
