Steve's Deli
- Neighborhood: River North
- 354 W. Hubbard St.
- Chicago, IL 60610
- 312-467-6868
- Price range: $$ ($9-$15)
This kosher-style River North deli is an offshoot of the original Steve's, which has been serving up chopped chicken liver, pastrami, beef brisket and more in suburban Bloomfield Hills, Mich., since 1994. Look for a full-service restaurant plus a grab-and-go area stocked with bestsellers such as egg-white salad and a lineup of diet-friendly fare. Deli classics on offer include matzo ball soup, stuffed cabbage, gefilte fish, fried kreplach and blintzes, as well as made-to-order salads, overstuffed deli sandwiches and entrees such as roast turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce. There's also a retail area stocked with gourmet groceries and more.
