Screenz is a thoughtfully planned environment in which to explore the Internet and hundreds of the latest software releases. State-of-the-art network architecture allows customers who use one of Screenz 45 computers to interact with each other or the staff in real-time. This facilitates the multi-player gaming and software and Internet training sessions that Screenz offers on a weekly basis. (Call for a calendar of events). The Screenz network is also linked to the Internet via broadband, which dramatically cuts down Web page downloading time. Screenz also maintains a thorough list of popular Internet sites to make surfing the Web easier for novices. A software library includes hundreds of the latest titles that are sorted into six easy-to-access categories: the Online Universe (high-speed Internet access, America Online, CompuServe, telnet, e-mail), the Home Office, Fun & Gamez (single player and multi-player game titles) and Team Screenz (popular multi-player network games). Rates are charged by the minute. Free web page posting with Front Page software. An audio conferencing system links each workstation to a staffed 'Help Desk' on site. The facility is also available for rental and features an area specially designed for use by small groups (it features 22 computers, a projection screen that can capture a computer desktop, and a master training podium).
