Scoop, which has multiple locations around the country including NYC, Las Vegas and Miami Beach, launched this 10,000 square-foot Chicago location in 2006. For the purposes of bragging rights, we'll note it has a perk the other addresses don't have: a cafe right inside the boutique. The menu includes salads, sandwiches, desserts, coffee drinks and smoothies. (Owners have upgraded the menu since the opening; Southport Grocery & Cafe now handles the food prep.) Stefani Greenfield and Uzi Ben-Abraham, who opened the first boutique in SoHo in '96, have developed a reputation for cutting-edge clothes in an appealing, well-organized environment. Featured designers include Seven for all Mankind, Free City, Paper Denim & Cloth, plus exclusive collections from Theory, Kotur and Alice & Olivia.
