This independent coffee house encourages patrons to sit, read, think, and chat all day -- and, of course, drink coffee. Beans are roasted at Intelligentsia's Roasting Works (1850 W. Fulton Market) and transferred to the store fresh daily. Muffins, scones, cookies, croissants and brownies are available; Intelligentsia sells pre-made sandwiches from Trotter's To Go, plus grab-and-go salads. Merchandise includes coffee and tea in bulk as well as sweets such as chocolate covered coffee beans and chocolate covered blueberries.
