Way way way overpriced...very limited selection...and less than the quality of product you would expect for the price. But then, what do you expect from the people who brought you M&M's...yes, it's owned by Mars.
There are way too many good, REAL chocolate hangouts to choose from...save your time, and appetite, for another place!

Great staff with friendly and knowledgable service. Recently had a baby shower there and couldn't have been more pleased. The chocolates are great and the place is really cute. Will definitely go back!

A lot of the local patrons are very entitled Lincoln Park snobs. I have witnessed very rude customers that the staff has had to deal with and each time the employees handled it with grace. The service is great, the location is great and the food is great. Skip the fondue adn go for the Chocolate and Cocoa for two. Great date place.

The staff is very friendly and loves to talk chocolate. They helped me build 100 party favors for a wedding and I got a discount! I would recommend this spot to anyone on a date or someone who just wants chocolate. GREAT!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with them kindly dealing with a rather rude woman who was demanding extra attention to her baby shower upstairs. The chocolate is very good and a much MUCH better value than Vosges. I will definitely be back.

The place smells like delicious fresh made chocolate, but don't buy into it-they pump in the fake smell and ship the chocolate in from Las Vegas. Ethel's has a nice atmosphere, but there were few places to sit (private party upstairs) so we had to stand. When we got our fondue it was cold and some of the dippers (pretzels mainly) were stale.... All for $25! I don't need big portions but I appreciate quality.
