If they still have the saffron honey ice cream - get it! Mango chili and white peach almond were also really good, but that one was the standout. A fun place to stop for a little treat.

It reminds me of the movie Chocolat and people with a true love of chocolate can really appreciate this place. It's rich, decadent and wonderful. It's exorbitant prices are leveled by the high quality of chocolate they have. I had an $8 hot chocolate that was the best thing I think I ever drank in my life. I hope this place survives the rents going up, because it really is a cool, one of a kind place. you can tell how much passion has gone into that place- it's obvious. I will definitely keep patronizing this place, as everyone should at least once...

My wife and I had a phenomenal time here. We each enjoyed the best hot chocolate and truffles of our lives -- unimaginably complex and brilliant flavor combinations. We were also very impressed with the service. The owner / chocolatier came to our table to serve us truffles and answer questions. I enthusiastically recommend this unique and beautiful restaurant.

Awesome chocolates! My girlfriend and I went yesterday, and LOVED it. Cool people that run the place, that love to tell you about what they do, if you ask! What a cool new place in this growing neighborhood! Will definitely be back.

Yeah, yeah. The chocolate is good: well-made, exciting flavors, and beautifully presented. But Coco Rouge feels like a hollow, cold and heartless shell - a very pretty shell, but still a shell. I felt like the service was annoyed by my presence and that I was a bother to them. I was there to spend money and they acted like they could not have cared less! And all the previous reviews that mention the owners by name make me think that they were written by friends with an angle, and not the average customer.

The atmosphere and service was very cold; the neon red lighting gave me a headache. The truffles were expensive and average in taste.

This place is awesome. All the combination are unique with exotic ingredients, and everything is super fresh. Jeremy and Erika are super friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. Seriously great place....

Wonderful addition to East Village. There is a great wine bar next door with a new bar two doors down. Together, these three make the perfect combo for the night. My preference is to start with a casual night at Thirteen, then head to Coco Rouge for some sweet then step it up with one of the close pubs.

I think this place is amazing. They have wonderful combinations of ingredients that are to die for, fun atmosphere, and knowledgable staff! Don't come here expecting something like Ethels - everything is fresh with exotic ingredients. Erica and Jeremy have a hit :)

I was looking forward to the hype of these meticulously prepared desserts, but was disappointed by the combinations. The atmosphere was quite frankly, to bright without anything to soften the colors. It was hard to be confortable. The atmosphere and service were rather cold and impersonal.
