This unpretentious cafe caters to the Oak Park and Austin arts community. The olive-green and purple walls are vibrantly decorated with local artists' paintings and photography. Buzz serves espresso drinks, coffees and teas, as well as sandwiches, salads and soup. Many menu items are vegetarian-friendly. Keeping with the local flavor, bands from the area perform several times a week. Even the food items here are local: Several of the desserts, like the cheesecakes and cookies, are made by small area bakeries. Buzz is relaxed and perfect for conversation.
