The smorgasbord at Grota offers a tremendous variety of Polish and American items. The large banquet room has long, dark wood tables that match the heavy looking wood walls and ceiling. Chairs are covered with dark red upholstery giving Grota the feeling of a medieval hall. The idea of royal feasting is therefore well-suited to the generous spread of food. Favorites include baked ham, roast chicken, pierogi and potato pancakes, as well as a selection of fresh salads and soups. The buffet encourages energetic eating, but the food is so filling that only a few trips should satisfy even the absolutely ravenous.
