The sandwiches are all great here. I've been many times and always try my friends food as well. They are a great deal for how much food you get. The only complaint I have is when I asked for no may but instead oil and vinegar, I got mayo and no oil and vinegar. If you have a special request, make sure they write it down, as the person taking my order did not write it down.

My boyfriend and I try to go out at least once a month and this is by far the best date we've ever had. The food was absolutely delicoious and the BYOB was irresistable. The appetizer's were sensational and the veal for the main course was cooked in the most perfect way possible. Reservations were recommended and necessary. The space of the restaurant is small, cozy and romantic. The prices were reasonable and we had a fantastic time. Our server was knowledgeable and made appetizer and main course suggestions. I am definitely going back.

What can I say, Lucy and her family are wonderful. They have been offering tasty and authentic Italian food in Wicker Park for many years now!! Her new deli and restaurant doesn't miss a beat, offering tasty homemade pastas and desserts. The food, the freindliness, and the positive energy all make for a truly Italian, urban, and Wicker Park experience. Keep up the wonderful work...

Our favorite place to get a great Italian sub in Chicago has always been Conti di Savoia on Taylor street but this place may be our new favorite. Great bread and sandwiches. Good salads. A great addition to the neighborhood.
