The sweets:
The so-so cocktails (all $14) such as The Field’s Fizz (Absolut Mandarin, OJ and champagne) and Extra! Extra! (Bacardi Peach, peach puree and prosecco) took a while to make, so we enjoyed some complimentary prosecco to ease into the evening. A dessert amuse bouche arrived (after 30 minutes) in the form of triple-chocolate mousse with raspberry coulis, strawberry sauce and a tiny bit of gold foil—a nice tidbit to amuse the bouche.
