Ambiance:
Dressed to impress, we glided through the dimly lit entryway to our tiny candlelit table in the lounge. Trendy artwork, a plush staircase and an extensive liquor cart made for a chic scene, though it had a bit of a business-like vibe—other diners appeared to be colleagues or businessmen flying solo. The entire staff made us feel like royalty, even hailing us a cab when we left.
Isn’t it romantic?
We definitely felt special, but the atmosphere seemed more upscale and pretentious than romantic. The dessert experience was sensual, with an emphasis on tickling your palate.
