Love, love Mercat! The dinner tasting menu is phenomenal and a great price. I've been numerous times since they've been open and it never disappoints.

To each his own, but for me Mercat has delicious Catalan-inspired dishes, which go beautifully with the ever-changing wine selection How could one not love the simplicity of the Serrano Ham and Fig Salad? Clearly the twit from Lincoln Park should stay there and off Michigan Avenue.
