Ann Sather

Neighborhood: Andersonville
5207 N. Clark St.

Chicago, IL 60640
773-271-6677
This is one of only a few places in town where you can sit down to a dinner of real roast turkey with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce year-round. You can also, of course, go with Swedish dishes -- potato sausage, baked beans, pancakes. Dessert is included with full dinners -- pie is traditionally a popular choice. The atmosphere is cozy and portions are large. And what other restaurant offers big, gooey cinnamon rolls as hors d'oeuvres? Catering and corporate catering are available. (Ann Sather's original location is in another formerly Swedish neighborhood.)
