The food was exquisite with huge portions. Everyone in the table ordered different plates and all tasted great. Would highly recommend.

I went to Cuarto for the first time this weekend. My experience here was excellent. I didn't have a reservation and only waited 15 min for a table for 3 on a Friday. For appetizers we tried the Empanadas De Cangrejo which were pretty good. The salsa that came with the empanadas was a bit spicy but edible. I had the Trucha Amazonas which was delicious and recommended by the waiter. Their sangria is decent not too sweet.

Went here for the first time with good friends for dinner and cocktails. The place is nicely decorated, and the food was good. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. During desserts and coffee, the hostess told us that another customer had reserved the booth we were in and she then presented us with the bill to pay! The sad thing is that- 1) there was plenty of seating elsewhere inside the restaurant, and 2) WE had made reservations SEVERAL DAYS IN ADVANCE too. During the dinner, we brought many drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and coffees. We did not cause any problems. It is pathetic that at Cuatro there is no such thing as basic manners and appreciation for their patrons.

Overpriced, tasteless food. Drinks were amazing. $28 for a piece of chicken that had a bone in it? Don't think so. Save your money on dinner and get appetizers...much better tasting but still a bad value.

I couldn't believe that the South Loop was hiding this extraordinary place! The food was delicious and the serive was nice. It was a bit crowded when we went there due to the dancing/music starting around 10p but we enjoyed it. The place came alive with salsa, house, and live percussion! I think everyone should walk over and see what a fabulous place is right around the corner!

Sunday brunch. Excellant service - attentive - not intrusive and not rushed. Atmosphere was very conversational - which means the background noise level was not too loud. There was nice music in the background which did not intrude into our conversation. Food was very good, and not over priced. Definately will return. Nice venue in the South Loop!

My wife and I went to Cuatro last weekend for our anniversary dinner. We had the vegetable ceviche, which was really good, and I had the pork chop, and she the short rib. Dinner was very tasty and cooked well, service was good, and the atmosphere was also nice. This is a good place for something different, but the menu was a little limited.

Cool atmosphere, good space between tables. The Humitas Verdes de Pollo were awesome - worthy of plate licking. Falvorful tamale with corn highlighted. Chilaca rellena was good - blue cheese is strong.
Needed more use of spice overall. Would like to see more use of beans. Often, food needed a more citrus balance. The Ensalada de Xuxu has an orange vinegrette but the dressing is more oil than orange. Coctel vuelve needed more citrus and less focus on tomatoes, more on the seafood. Speciality drinks are overpriced because they are not memorable.
