Excellent Food!

This small, unassuming Korean restaurant serves the best Korean food I have found in Chicago. It isn't fancy, but is brilliantly prepared. The gun mandu -- pan fried dumplings -- are absolutely magnificent, as is their dipping sauce. The dofu jigae, kim chi jigae, duk mandu guk, and chop chae are first rate. The panchan -- side dishes which come with the entree -- are many and varried.

I live in Hyde Park, but am always happy to drive to this Northwest Side restaurant...it is probably my favorite place to eat in Chicago.

As with many Korean restaurants, there is sometimes a bit of a language barrier, but the menu has pictures, so it is easy to point out what you want.
