BAD Service
By FmrWaitress from Limcoln Park, April 17, 2008

Unfortunately, this location has horrible service. After giving it numerous chances, I have given up after never once having received even halfway decent service. The servers have no clue as to what is on the menu or what drinks the bar serves. The bartenders are nothing like the friendly happy ones on State Street. Last time, the waitress completely forgot to even put half of our order in and never once apologized. There appears to be no management overseeing the servers. Also, the decor of the upstairs is downright scary. While it is nice to have an adult bar as an addition to our neighborhood, if you are going to charge $9 for a glass of wine or $6 for a beer (not to mention $15 for a burger and fries), train your servers!

Excellent Food and Nice Atmosphere
By Shan from Lincoln Park, April 1, 2008

My wife and I visited the Linkin Park location on Saturday. I had the Ribs and my wife had a fish entree and they were both top notch. In fact, I think the Ribs are better than the Ribs at Twin Anchors or Fireplace Inn, which are two other places I really like. Our service was also really good and the food was very hot (not sure what the deal is with the reviewer that repeatedly gets cold food). We'll definately be back.

Great new place!

My husband I I ate dinner upstairs at PJ Clarkes last night and were very happy with our experience. Our waiter was able to make some good recomendations and our food was excellent. My husband rated the ribs as high or higher than many other great rib places. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well. We will be back!

Pj's is in Lincoln Park to Stay

I like it, I like it alot. Very comfortable atmosphere, good looking place and they play GOOD rock/ jazz music for the background. Food is really good. This isn't a typical "bar/ pub" at all. It's pretty close to Steakhouse dining, with not particularly cheap pricing. But, the food is awfully good and the wine list isn't obnoxiously overpriced. I'll certainly be back.

Food not up to par

Tried it twice. Bar is fine. Food upstairs served absolutely cold both times. Need a decent chef and manager to make this rather large restaurant a success.

Worst Music Ever
By tochg from Lincoln Park, December 2, 2007

Average bar, but has the worst music at any bar in Chicago that I've ever been to. Don't go out of your way to go here. Not a terrible time, but not a good time either.
