Best food this side of 'Outat Oulad el Hajj'

Food is amazing! All homemade, no artificial ingredients, no fast boiling. We had lamb, chicken pastille, and soup. All of the dishes were perfect. We've never had food that was so rich in flavor and well-prepared. The lamb was the best we've ever experienced in Chicago. It is baked and grilled to perfection.
Don't miss this place! The decor is modest although we prefer a home feel to the glitzy near-north dime-a-dozen restaurants with a Ferrari parked out front.

I had a very romantic dinner here with my boyfriend on a Thursday night. I called ahead and asked how busy they were. We brought 2 bottles of wine. We were welcomed and although there were no other guests we had an amazing time!
We had very fresh, homemade food. The service was excellent and we know we will be back! Try it, you will like it!!!

Unassuming gem

Expect generous portions, attentive service, casual atmosphere. A good value as a BYOB too. Kind of an off the beaten path location for a restaurant but well work seeking out.

Great for Social Gatherings

Just had a very nice birthday party there for my wife. Ahmed was very gracious in dealing with a continually changing number of guests, and made sure that our dinner was very enjoyable for all.

The service was great, and the food was fantastic. We all had the lamb, which was fantastic. We look forward to going back. Great place for a large gathering (though I suspect that making a reservation is a wise idea so that they can prepare).

A very basic restaurant, but with a nice ambiance, good food, and great service.

Authentic Dining Experience

Two of my good friends and I went to Marrakech Cuisine last night. When we first walk in, we were taken a back how empty the place was. However, it was a Thursday night, so we did take this in consideration. We were greeted by the owner and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary appetizer; pinto beans and pita bread. It was delicious. We ordered the hummus which was delicious too. We felt like we were a guest a someones home. The music, the food and the service was great and I recommend the restaurant for anyone who is interested in an authenic moroccan dining experience.

The appetizers were really flavorful, the couscous was awesome, and the mint tea so delish. The price for this feast was right-on too. Will definitely go back!

Marrakech, while definitely a unique dining experience, is a place I will return. The restaurant was empty, and looked closed, but when we came in the host/server/owner?/cook? turned on the ac, the lights, and was ready to go. The hummus is the BEST in the city--the portion is small, but it's $3. The mint tea, falafel, babaganoush, and cous cous are outstanding. The chicken was just okay, but $45 for 4 and full bellies--I definitely will return. Try out this gem soon--I don't want to find it really closed.

Oh, so fantastic! Though extremely unbusy, the atmosphere was inviting. The service was attentive yet relaxed. Our group of six spent nearly three hours lingering over appetizers and stretching out tea and dessert--I really appreciated the way our server paced out the arrival of the appetizers so we could enjoy our food and conversation in a leisurely manner

The food quality was top-notch, and the prices modest. A very refreshing and flavorful change of pace!
