I went to this place for mother's day (yesterday), and I don't live around there, my mom does, so I left it up to her, and I had mentioned a middle eastern food place, so she mentioned Reza's. So we got there the place was very packed, and finally we get seated was when the server told us that they only had a buffet. So we got up and served ourselves, I didn't see anything that I really liked, I served myself my dish and I went to sit down. I didn't really enjoy my food, so we were done and when it came to pay it ended up being $90.00 for 3 people, I thought that it was such a rip off for a buffet, I barely had eaten, my mom & her husband too. I didn't really care for the food and the service wasn't great at all, our server never came once to say how things were. So Not a great experience.!!!

Our Friday night at Reza's started out promising. The food choices looked delicious. We placed our drink and dinner order. The soup was delicious. The entrees were good. Then, our server disappeared. No one refilled our water. We couldn't get anyone to put in our second round drink order. When our server finally reappeared, we told him that we thought that he forgot about us. He wrapped our leftovers and returned with the bill as well as a catering menu...touting how we should do our catering through Rezas. We never saw him again and had to take our check to the hostess to pay. When one pays $18/entree, one should expect service that matches the price. I am SO disappointed and will NEVER return.

I was so excited to try Reza's, several people told me the food was very good, but It was a very dissappointing experience, when I called to made reservations they didn't tell me it was a buffet night, we just found out at the time we were seated when the waitress told us, so we didn't have no choice, the buffet was the only option, the food was cold, half cooked, and no varietyl, service was poor, nothing special and very expensive. we should have gone to a chinesse buffet for half of the price and much better food for sure.

I was quite pleased with my dining experience at Reza's on Clark St. The chicken breast with pomegranate sauce was very good. The sides of dill rice and the other sides of salad, soup, and bread that you get with dinner are buffet style and decent. I ordered cranberry juice for my liquid refreshment, and the waitress was informative and let me know fruit juices are not qualified for free refills. Not every server would do that at other places. The prices are typical for that stretch of Clark St. reataurants.

I just came straight home and made an account on this to write a review about reza's....to start positive...we got sat quickly and our waitress was fairly attentive. The food however was another story. First, huge humus fan here and I could barely stand there's. Second, the Falafel was reminiscent of cat nip. Third, the 'chicken soup' had no chicken...it was yellow and tasted like dill and thats it, just dill. When the main entre came they were all 3 tasteless and dry...I'm not sure how fillet mignon becomes dry and tough like beef jerky but it was. The chicken was fluorescent yellow and the lamb was bone dry. Then the dessert...donuts soaked in oil and the baklava was alright..needless to say....do not waste your time!

Went on a Friday night at 7:30 and the place was barely half full... and now I know why! Our waiter wasn't attentive, we sat and waited about 10 mins for our drinks to be re-filled... then the waiter just sat the pitcher on our table and said something about “that we could refill it ourselves”... TACKY! The food wasn't terrible... but wasn't exactly good either and some of the things we ordered arrived luke warm… It’s sad because I’ve received better service at McDonalds… and that costs about 1/5 of what we paid for our meal at Reza’s. I won’t be back!

Report This ReviewI have been a regular customer at Reza's for the past 20 years. Honestly, this place is phenomenal; its a landmark in chicagoland! The food is simply outstanding, and the fair prices you pay for such a mouth-watering meal just tops it off! Reza's has been ranked #1 middle eastern cuisine in the country by this nation's middle eastern community for several years now; its a very reputable place. Anywhere you go, whether its merely local, or all the way to california, florida, NY--wherever-- every middle eastern raves about Reza's expertise in delivering the top aunthentic middle eastern food offered. As a middle-eastern, I have to say that this is BY FAR the best authentic mediterranean cuisine, not only within chicagoland, but in the country!
Report This ReviewBad food that got worse with time. I will never go back there.
Report This ReviewThe food was awful... some of the worst falafel, stuffed grape leaves and cous cous I have ever had -- everything was dry and tasteless. There are many better middle eastern places as a cheaper price.
