Recently went to the Pita Inn in Glenview as i have many times in the past and was disturbed to be served rice which smelled sour. My husband told the manager who did not seem to really be too concerned. We were given another plate of rice but that too smelled spoiled also so we just left. I didnt want to take any chances especially since we had our 3yr old with us. Too bad I wont be back.

I have been to Pita Inn and Reza's. I see more ethnic people at Pita Inn than Reza's. I have been to Reza's a few times and had good steak and rice, but for the price! NO WAY!
Reza's is full of yuppie-what-ever-you-call-em, trendsters, scenesteres, who cares, Pita Inn is KING OF KEBAB!

I would like to respond to the "one star" comment posted below. First of all, Reza'a is average at best. After all, how much dill does one portion of rice need? And the reference to Dengeo's? I have no words. All with great taste agree that nothing compares with the high quality and great hospitaltiy that Pita Inn consistently offers its customers. I mean Dengeo's? Come on!

I know this is a "fast food" type restraunt, but even though it's not expensive that doesn't mean that all the meat should be dry and overcooked and the pita's should be tough and rubbery - which is what you get at Pita Inn. If you want really good medeterian food go to Reza's, if you want tasty and cheap food (down the street) go to Dengeo's and get their shish-ka-bob, it's juicy and flavorful and MUCH better!

I am originally middle eastern, and I've been coming to Pita Inn my whole life! Even to many native middle easterners, Pita Inn's food blows away its competition. Plus, it's such a great deal!

This place delivers the best middle eastern food with very affordable prices. I've been going here for years and always recommend it to friends. I've yet to find better baba ghanoush or hummus.
