Waiting for a birthday party to start up at a near by bar, a friend and I visited Pars Cove after seeing they had Dolmeh (grapeleaves) on their menu.
We were greeted by the owner and the menu was explained to us almost right away. Excellent service the entire night.
The lentil soup was fantastic, not too spicey, but not bland at all.. and the grape leaves were the same. They told us if we wanted, they could make the food spicier, but they normally don't do that unless requested.
Drinks were affordable ($4 for a glass of sangria, or $3 for a domestic beer) and desert was great. We ordered the wild strawberry desert - only issue was that the strawberries were still frozen, but everything tasted great nonetheless.
We were given roses, too, when our check came. A very sweet place to have an intimate dinner with a friend or significant other.
PS: The patio is the place to be!

Have eaten at Pars Cove off and on for years. Used to live in the neighborhood. Have gone back this week and it was terrific as usual.
Report This ReviewI went here last night for the first time. It was by far the best service I have had since moving to this city. The waiter brought us a free app, b/c I was taking a little while to decide what I wanted, everything sounded so terrific. After the meal we were served compilmentry ice cream (with honey and brown sugar). When we were presented with the bill there was a rose inside for me. I had a great time and highly recommend dining here!!

Report This ReviewThe food and service are wonderful. It's perfect for an intimate dinner because the atmosphere is cozy and romantic. And, you get a great value for your money.
Report This ReviewIt's so easy to miss this place but it's so worth going to! Excellent service & even better food. We had the appetizer sampler (grape leaves, salad, feta cheese, hummus, & olives) to start which went great with the warm bread they serve. Lentil soup was served before my delicious entree (Chicken Fezenjan-the meat was so tender with a very rich sauce). They even serve dessert with every meal-a simple but very good vanilla ice cream with honey drizzled on top. It was a great surprise to find such a gem in Lakeview and I can't wait to go back!
Report This ReviewI know nothing about persian food... In fact, I was hesitant to try Pars Cove, but I loved everything about it. The food was good, affordable. A real nice place. I never would have guessed that I would have liked this place, but I enjoy it a lot. It is def. worth trying.
Report This ReviewI love everything about this place. The atmosphere was great, and the guitar music playing in the background was nice. Waitress was helpful and attentive. Best of all, the food was very tasty, and prices are good considering the amount of food you get. We'll definitely go back.
