This Middle Eastern spot located inside the Wabash Jeweler' Mall is popular with the lunch crowd, featuring daily lunch specials and popular platters such as the veggie combo (hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel and dolma or tabbouleh). The falafel is revered by some--chickpeas are soaked for a full 24 hours, then twice ground with herbs and spices for just the right consistency before frying. Baklava is the specialty dessert; the best day to get it is Tuesday when owner Suleiman Ahmad makes it fresh.
