This Lebanese spot, once an Andersonville favorite (owners shuttered that location in 2003), has made a River North comeback. The space features table seating as well as Arabic-style booths--floor-level, pillow-stuffed nooks that allow you to kick off your shoes and get comfy. The decor features beaded chandeliers from Lebanon and plenty of Middle Eastern bric a brac, giving the place an simple, homey feel. In addition to Middle Eastern standards like falafel, shwarama and kabobs, you'll find other options such as mdardara, steamed lentil and rice topped with roasted onion, and shish tawook, marinated chicken breast with onion, tomato and green peppers. Belly dancers perform on the weekends.
