Impressive

Went there for the easter brunch buffet and was impressed not only with the selection of the food but the dessert as well all for 19.95 oh and the best part a free glass of champaign. The shwerma was unbelievable it was juicy and tender definitely was my favorite there. The salmon was perfect juicy and fluffy. The best had to be the chocolate fondue, they had strawberry's, rice crispy treats, marshmallows and tons of other stuff to dip into the chocolate. I'm going back for sure as this was way better than Reza's and the staff is ten times friendlier and much more attentive.

I was hesitant to try this place based on previous reviews. Went last night and was very pleased overall. The atmosphere is fine for a neighborhood place, service was good, food was great. We were both very happy with a great meal (huge portions) and very reasonable price. Try it for yourself- we will definitely be back!

The restaurant is very inconsistent....

The restaurant is very inconsistent. I've ordered carry out or delivery only. They're very pleasant, but got my order completely wrong once (of course didn't notice until after the driver left). The food is either very good, like the shrimp kabob, or HORRIBLE like the falafel sandwich, spinach pie is tasteless, and spinach and rice was inedible because of all the salt. I was amazed a Mediterranean place didn't have a great falafel. It was rock hard, literally couldn't bite into it and had to take it out of the sandwich to cut with a knife. I'd order from there again, but would be choosy about what I'd order. At least it's inexpensive.

A nice night out in the neighborhood...enjoyed the outdoor seating, nice selection of food and drinks and at decent prices. Overall a good casual spot for lunch or dinner.

I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews. Try the restaurant for yourself. Yes,the decor leaves PLENTY to be desired, but the food is wonderful. The chef's specials were very tasty and it was "1/2 price bottles of select wine" night. The portions are huge. A great night out without breaking the bank.

It took 20 minutes for the waiter to come! Not vet apologetic or friendly. THe food was barely warm. Half price martini's means half a martini. (I've never seen such a small martini glass!)I would not recommend it or go back!!!

I would not listen to...

I would not listen to the person from September 1, 2005. This place was AWESOME. Being new the the Uptown area, my boyfriend and I just discovered this gem. We went out for a late dinner, and even though we got there 1/2 hour before closing, we were treated very well. The food was AMAZING. The taste, portions, and presentation were all great. I had the stuffed artichoke hearts with spinish and goat cheese w/ seasoned couscous. The prices were reasonable too. Our bill was $45, and we had drinks, an app, 2 entrees and desert. We can't wait to go back to try more!
