This cheerful little storefront BYOB serves breakfast standards and a concise lunch lineup. Specialties include Mexican egg dishes such as chilaquiles, made-to-order waffles, and smoothies and juice blends made with fresh, hand-squeezed juices. If you’re looking for something sweeter, the popular oatmeal shake is the way to go. A little bit of Ravenswood’s beloved Zephyr Cafe, which closed in 2006 after a 30-year run, lives on here too. Co-owner Rosemary Lucas is a former Zephyr manager, and she brought several old favorites with her, including the Belgian Beauty (a waffle smothered in ice cream, whipped cream and hot caramel sauce) and the Zephyr burger recipe.

I found this place by searching for a new breakfast spot on Metromix. It was delicious food, friendly service, reasonably priced, no wait and relax...
