This eatery features regional Mexican dishes and an extensive tequila selection. The specialty appetizer is the guacamole, prepared-to-order tableside. Other appetizers include a jicama salad and roasted duck soft taquitos. Entrees feature a grilled duck breast with red mole sauce and cilantro, and the red snapper Veracruzana, a whole snapper seared with onions, tomatoes, capers, olives, chile guero and garlic. Another house specialty is the molcajetes, a sizzling Mexican stone mortar filled with a choice of grilled chicken, steak or shrimp, with three-chile salsa, asadero cheese, cactus leaf and charro beans. Several fruity cocktails are also offered, like the signature passion fruit margarita. The full-service bar also offers Mexican beers for non-tequila drinkers.
