We continue to be so pleased and pleasantly surprised with each visit to this Logan Square jewel! And to also share this great find with friends that love a wonderful dining experience; and again this weekend we had the pleasure of repeating that incredible dining experience! Never dissappoints -- and the food and blends of spices plus the proiduce of the season are so well blended into the menu, that just WOW!!

Make a reservation and it will soon become one of your cuilinary fav's as well. Bon Appetit!!!

The food was good but far from great! I will go back and try something different and hope that I make a better choice. The mole I had lacked flavor and the pork chop was dry. the guac however was really good.

Food and Service

Last evening, we had our third dining experience at the Rustico Grill...it is incredible that this great restaurant has only been open since the first part of September! Yet, they dazzle the patrons with their great food and incredibly impeccable service! WOW! How do they do this when they are sooooo new to Logan Square? Possibly it is their waiter, Cisco, who has been with RA for quite some time.

Whatever is the magic of this dining experience, we will continue to go back and refer this place to all of our friends and their friends, etc!.!

What a "gem" this restaurant is and do NOT miss out on an opportunity to make your reservation and see what an extraordinary dining experience awaits you!!!

Went with 3 friends to Rustico Grill last night. First visit for all of us and we were all impressed. Margaritas were solid. We each had an app and entree - all were very good. Empanadas and ceviche were excellent. Shrimp entree was very good. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place! Nice addition to Logan Square.

Fantastic! A restaurant doing what they do best, not trying to be something other than that. Not much more to say... New opening restaurants take note.... this is how to do it! Extremely flavorful food selections prepared to perfection. Outstanding margaritas. AND>>> WOAH >>> here's a new concept for a Chicago restaurant:
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!! Thanks and see you there!

Fantastic Dinner

It all began with the welcoming chef and hostess that greeted us at the door as if we were regulars as opposed to first time diners. As we entered the restaurant, the space was incredibly warm and welcoming.

Most new restaurants have their glitches and bumps to overcome but not Rustico Grill. The food was amazing! We started with a grilled calamari salad that was to die for. My wife and I split it and had a fork-fight over who could get more. (Next time we'll each get our own.)

For dinner we shared several entrees, including the wood grilled pork chops in sweet chile ancho mole with sweet mashed potatoes and plantains(grilled to perfection) and grilled chicken with peanut mole (succalent and spicy). I've personally searched the globe for the best pork chops and these rank amongst the best that I have ever had. Our daughter also had the ribeye steak along with a variety of sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes.

Mixed in with all of this terrific food were the cocktails. The house Marguritas had the perfect blend of fresh lime juice and tequila.

The desserts were the perfect capper to a great dinner.

I'm already thinking about what I want to order when I go back (soon)...................

just might be the best hidden gem in Chicago. Lots of chips brought to table, awesome Margaritas, never overcooked, fresh, flan, yum. I'm going to eat here every night i think.

Fun waitstaff, well managed, good value.

new favorite Mexican in CH

I've been flying back and forth to Chicago from DC for 2 years now and someone took me to Mixteco last year, the older brother BYOB of Rusico, always loved the food but was missing the Margarita or nice a beer to go with all the great food they have.... As soon as I heard of Rustico I couldn't do other than visit and was really happy with the service and not to mention the food, which started my new not-so guilty pleasure.
perfect place for business dinners and super casual for pleasure as well.

see you again soon!

Gourmet Mexican Cusine.

Rustico Grill, a fine experience with Gourmet Mexican Cusine.
The first time we visited was for dinner, and we loved everything from the guacamole to all the different Moles sauces.
The second time we visited Rustico Grill, was on a Sunday Brunch and again, we loved the variety of the Mexican dishes and my favorite Enchiladas Suizas.
The ambiance is warm and the service is kind and friendly.
Don't forget to try the Tres Leches cake. It's delicious.
