Petite powerhouse of dive type Mexican restaurants

Los Jardines is great! It's been around forever and I hope it never closes. It's not hip or posh or anything trendy. It's a small old place with pinatas and dated looking decor. Don't be fooled though, it's as good as any Mexican restaurant around. The salsa verde is the best I've ever had and the burrito natural is a must have. You really won't go wrong with any of their cuisine and the servers are always rapido and friendly. The prices are also not hip or posh or trendy. You'll be in and out for not much money yet your appetite will be satiated. Los Jardines is probably overlooked for Arlington Heights' more popular La Chicanita, but make no mistake, Los is every bit as good!
