My partner and I wanted to have an authentic Cinco De Mayo experience this past year. We decided to head down to Little Village which is like stepping into another world. It is filled with authentic culture and heart. There are a lot of Lalos in the city and suburbs, but none of them have flavor like this one. They start the meal with some wonderful fresh chips and salsa....spicy and yummy. They then bring out a cup of chicken noodle soup. The menu is a value like none other. I typically get the carne asada and it is just delightful. The best I've ever had. The service is always wonderful. The staff doesn't always speak the best english, but they are patient and very warm. We try to go back at least once a month. There is plenty of street parking and it is fun to drive down the strip in little village to experience Little Village. We have taken friends, parents, and co-workers. Simple and Tasty! Authentic and Spicy! If you are afraid of food with a kick, you will have limited options. Get the Carne Asada....trust me.!
