While Chicago may be known as the home of the blues, audiophiles in Pilsen know that the local rock-en-EspaƱol scene can hold its own. During the week, La Justicia is just like any other Mexican restaurant, but on Friday nights bands take over the dining room, plowing through everything from Spanish metal to ska. Of course, the bands' energy is nothing compared to the crowd's, who get raucous, sweaty and out of control without fail. Expect things to get a bit crowded; that's part of the fun.
