Possibly the fanciest hole-in-the-wall in Pilsen, La Cebollita is handsomely appointed with art on the walls and modern touches throughout. But the real standouts are the made-from-scratch-daily tamales, which come at street-vendor prices (they're just $1 each). Though the wait can sometimes be a bit long, it's worth it. You can get a variety of other Mexican favorites, including a carne asada platter and chicken enchiladas, for less than $12.
