This is not a "restaurant" in my idea of a restaurant. Its a great place for a quick bite to eat -- almost like a fast food place, but healthier! Great menu, not too fancy and quite reasonably priced, but the food is yummy and has great vegetarian options which is always a plus for me! I like that they deliver also. Overall a great little spot for a quick bite!

Are the sloopers so desperate for Mexican food that they actually give this place good reviews? I decided to give Flacos a try and was seriously disappointed! The skirt steak on my burrito was like leather and salsa did nothing for me. While I think Mexican fare is a great idea in the loop, this place needs some serious work!!

There is finally a tasty, quick and affordable taco place in the SL. The steak is very good quality, not fatty- I have yet to try the other meats because I keep going back for the steak. it would be nice if the cheese was melted instead of cold, but I won't be too picky. The place is really cute too! And they're open LATE! Ya!

It was a loooong wait for this place to open up, but it was worth it. I actually get hungry for Flacos a couple times a week. The food is very good, the atmosphere is fast foody, but is comfortable enough to stay awhile. The fish taco, beef taco, steak burrito and pork tamale are at the top of my list here. Prices are very reasonable and they are open l a t e.
Report This ReviewAt last it's here. The tacos and burritos is very tasty and their red and green salsa is an added bonus. However, their portion lack to be desired. For $2.25, I expected a little more steak in their taco or maybe it's flaco away. And for $6.95, I expected a lot more steak and other ingredients (not to mention all the extra cost for other ingredients and now your burrito cost over $9 depending what else you want in a burrito (standard to other restaurants and only cost about $5 or $6). Their ground beef and potato burrito is really good and very different. Don't order the vegetarian burrito, my friend compared it to Taco Bell. While I will be back since it's the only Mexican Restaurant in Printer's Row, I hope they make some changes....
Report This ReviewFinally, a mexican joint in the south loop / printers row neighboorhood that's open late and has great food! I found the burrito and taco's that we tried to be fresh and tasty. I agree with the other reviewer though that burrito's should come with lettuce/tomato/sour cream at no extra charge - these are standard burrito ingredients people!!!! Hopefully this will be corrected. But, we're definitely going to be back for a good, fresh, quick meal.
Report This ReviewI've been waiting for Flaco's to open since Printer's Row desperately needed a burrito/taco place. I've only had their burritos and chips/guac, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu. The chips/guac were great, but the burrito was only good. The skirt steak was tender and flavorful but it's a bare bones burrito. The only extras that you can get are cheese, cilantro, onions, and sour cream....you have to pay extra for lettuce and tomatoes. This made it seem bland and small compared to Chipotle, Q-doba or any other burrito place.
Hopefully this is merely a kink at the start-up and it gets fixed soon (although I am doubtful it will). Otherwise I'll keep wishing that a better taco/burrito place will open up in Printer's Row
been looking fwd to this place so i don't have to all the way to pilsen for mexican. good fish tacos (with lettuce not cabbage but good flavor). fresh hot tortilla chips and great guac. cute clean atmosphere. they serve you when you eat in. we brought our own beer and had a grand old time.
