This family-run Mexican joint appears to be housed in a former old-man bar. You know the type of place: dimly lit with lots of wood paneling and a jukebox filled with '80s and '90s hits--and of course, a long, worn-in bar. Mix that with white tablecloths and fanned cloth napkins shoved into wine glasses on every table and you have a pretty odd dining room. The menu is extensive and fairly traditional: flautas, enchiladas, familiar Mexican chicken and steak entrees, and several seafood dishes. Try the guachinango al mojo de ajo, red snapper served with a thick sauce of garlic, lemon, oranges and onions. The margaritas aren't bad either.
