Albany Park quick-serve Dawali (which means grapevine in Arabic) offers a lineup of Middle Eastern-Mediterranean eats such as falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, shawarma, kebabs and bread pies (lamb, spinach or Haloumi cheese with mint). The spacious seating area has perky green walls, lots of windows and offbeat light fixtures; you can see the cooks in action in the partially open kitchen (as well as juicy meats spinning on the vertical broilers). Heads-up: Though the name might make you think there's wine on the menu, there's not. In fact, the only grapevines you'll see here are of the the faux variety, clustered above the cash register.
