I recently dined here. The service is unbelievably quick. Very impressed. cute decor, great taste. Loved the O.E. cocktail. not sweet or heavy.... best part of the meal is the ginger icecream. It has a very unique flavor I've never seen anywhere. I would go back if not just for the icecream.

I've been to Jin Ju several times and haven't had a bad experience yet. The wait staff is always friendly, the food is always good, and the drinks are fantastic. There's nothing better than their cucumber martini (OE) on a hot summer night with some korean food.

Report This ReviewJin Ju has consistently great food. My only complaint is that the place is a little loud, no sound buffers what so ever, and they keep the interior so dark you have to squint to see the menu and your companions.
Report This ReviewJin Ju was crowded, so a table from the back room was brought up front to make more room. That's all well and good, except that the tables in the back room are low with backless stools, while all the other tables in the front are standard height with regular chairs. My guest and I felt like we had been relegated to the kiddie table, and we were seated next to the drafty window, which left us shivering and uncomfortable. Hoping the food would warm us, we decided to tough it out. But it took an hour and half for our entrees to arrive, and for some reason, the waiter waited until we had our entress to bring out the skimpy sampling of panchan. To top it off, as our waiter cleared the plates from a nearby table, he dropped a chicken bone on our table. He removed the bone but never wiped up the crumbs or grease. The food was fine, but the experience was awful, and we will certainly not return.
Report This ReviewTook out of town guests. Had theater tickets and told the waiter so. He responded perfectly and paced the meal just right and with a big smile. Smooth and refreshing sweet potato vodka martinis and chilled saki. Appetizers and mains courses were generous, well spiced and complex, though had to cool down before most could be eaten. A terrific experience was had by all and we made the play with time to spare.
Report This ReviewFantastic! We've enjoyed the cuisine at Jin Ju at least twice a month for the past year. Always delicious and always a treat!
Report This ReviewUsually when a bowl of red sauce is dumped all over my shirt by a waiter my meal is comped. Not this time. The super bland food was enough for me not to go back. There are way better places on Clark to go to in Andersonville.
