Haiwoondae may look like your average Korean restaurant, but it is actually much more. This small Korean restaurant caters to those who have an affinity for good, homestyle Korean food. Each table is equipped with its own small grill, so you can grill it just the way you like it (they bring out a tray of raw beef and you grill it). Haiwoondae is a traditional Korean restaurant with some tables available where you take off your shoes and sit on cushions. There are even a few small, private rooms with these special low tables that you can reserve if you call in advance. Reasonably priced with meals ranging from $6.50 - $11.95.
