Amazing this place is still in business, I live right near there so I gave it a second and third try. It is awful!!! the worst service ever. The manager or owner walks around and does nothing to help. It is not a Deli.

My oh my..shock when I had breakfast here last week. With so much potential, this "deli" is not any better than a Jack in The Box. Too sad, I did expect cooked food to be at least a bit warm. Server was surprised that I even said anything. Hope they can turn this around,as it is a nice location for the neighborhood.

My actual experience is too long to relate here, so I'll sum it up in one word: VILE! You've now been warned.

Last week several co-workers and I went to lunch here. Our glasses were not even clean (lipstick marks, etc.) and the waitress seemed miffed that we wanted new ones. The food is less than mediocre and very expensive. The service was horrible. I would not go back again even though I work right next door.

we went Sunday afternoon and ordered 2 sandwiches, only a few customers there, we had to wait till the help finished eating lunch before they would make our sandwiches,
took a really long time, for some very terrible tiny sandwiches, real expensive, bad food, bad attitude. even though we live right accross the street we will never go back.

This is the only true deli in Chicago. It has the largest sandwiches and yes there is a wait, but name me one great food establishment that doesn't. Service is great and the freshest ingredients used. For my money its worth the wait.
P.S. Please post and let the out of towners stick with the golden arches for quick service...

We went on Sunday 7/20/03: the service was terrible and after sitting at our table for 15 minutes waiting to order...we should have left. The rueben was tasty but nowhere near "...overstuffed.." proportions. My husband ordered "The Colossal" which was dry (no mustard as promised and no waitress to bring the mustard) and fatty. The server did not seem to be familiar with the menu. 2 very mediocre sandwiches for $21 and bad service...no thanks!
