1/2 price maki is a great deal

Tank's half price maki days on Sat/Sun are perfect if you're looking to eat a lot of Maki and not have to pay a ton for it. They've limited out their most expensive Maki rolls now from the 1/2 price menu but there are still plenty to choose from.
The rolls are good and the presentation is also great. The wait staff has always been courteous to us but you should be prepared to wait for a bit after ordering your items cause they are often quite busy

Tank is one of my favorite restaurants. It is wonderful and the food is absolutely to die for. Out of the many times I've gone there I've had a great time. Sometimes though, the line there is long where you can't get in. The restaurant is sophisticated, and it's great for date nights and special occasions. Also the food is very expensive. Well, that is just what you get when the food is so amazing. Tank is just fabulous.

Good food, bad pacing...

We made a meal of appetizer on tonight’s visit -- everything was delicious and nicely presented. Since we were there early for a pre-show dinner and staked out a window seat, the lighting was good (a problem for me in the inner recesses of the room). My only criticism was the pacing -- we ordered five items, and they were all brought at once. I assumed the server would have sequenced the order (or asked, as a top notch server would have), but that was a bad assumption. Next time, I’ll know better...

Affordable quality sushi

Their 1/2 price maki is one of the best deals in the city. I appreciate they they will adjust any roll to be as spicy or as mild as one would like.

I really want to like this place more, as I live in walking distance. So I've given it way more chances than I would most places and time after time it's simply mediocre, especially regarding the freshness of the fish and the quality of the cocktails, which are two of the three main things I use to judge a sushi place. You know when sushi is so fresh that it's buttery tender and effortless to bite through? Well, too many times I've had trouble biting through a piece of nigiri and have to take the whole thing in one bite. Not good. The third thing I like about a good sushi place is a hip atmosphere and I have no complaints there - it's a very nice room indeed. And I have no qualms with the service either. Just not great food and a bit on the pricey side to boot. It kills me to admit it.

Absolutely Perfect

TANK SUSHI IS PERFECT!! My wife, kids and I had lunch on Tuesday afternoon and all I can say is ' perfect.' We had the tofu, pot stickers and calamari (which is the best in the city) for apps and all were perfect. After the apps we dove into the 1/2 price maki's like the Tank Maki, dragon and Latin Heat...once again perfect. There are other maki's on the menu that are not 1/2 price and we tried 2 of those as well. The Lava Maki and the Robusuta which are not half price but were perfect. Don't miss the opportunity to eat well at a reasonable price. I would go back every week for the great deals and of course the perfect flavors.

I am not even a big fan of sushi, but I have eaten here 3 or 4 times and enjoyed it everytime. I would recommend going during the week, because you may have to wait for a table on the weekends.

Don't go for lunch

I went for dinner-loved it. Went back for lunch....now I hate it. The service was nonexistance-we sat outside and had to go in 5 times to place out order etc. -but that is not how it is suppose to be lest you were confused. I have had much better sushi at several other places. Not that great. The cocktail I had was very good when I went for dinner and my expericence at dinner was better though I felt the sushi was just average. Don't go for lunch...maybe try for dinner if you must.

Simply The Best

You can't beat the deal at this place. 1/2 price on rolls everyday for lunch and Sat & Sun. I suggest the volcano maki for the best flavor. The crazy eel, with cream cheese and topped with peanuts is delicious. David, our waiter is well versed on the menu and had some great recommendations. THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!

I used to really like Tank Sushi. I would dine in regularly as well as delivery. They have gotten full of themselves because I recently called for delivery and they mixed up the order and never delivered. When I called, they never apologized or anything. When i called to speak to the manager and give feedback, I was told I was wrong. This is the 3rd time delivery has been messed up. The service in the restuarant has gone down hill too. Guess they have enough customers because they don't seem to care that they lost a regular.
