Sushi Luxe

Neighborhood: Andersonville
5204 N. Clark St.

Chicago, IL 60640
773-334-0770
This Andersonville sushi spot is from the same owners of New Tokyo. The sleek space features exposed brick walls, dark wood floors, brushed stainless steel accents on the walls and bar, and lacquered wood tables with silver fish accents.
In addition to sushi, sashimi and maki rolls, look for Japanese appetizers like negi maki, thinly sliced beef rolled with green onions and special sauce, and kani-su, king crab with cucumber marinated in sweet ginger dressing. "Chef's inspirations" include the tako yaki, deep-fried Japanese-style octopus balls, and the "well being roll," a low-carb combo of tuna, flying fish roe, furikake, unagi, avocado, cucumber and faux crab rolled without the rice. Entrees feature choices like the kara age chicken, Japanese-style deep-fried chicken, and yakisoba, pan-fried Japanese noodles with chicken and vegetables. There are also daily off-the-menu specials. Specialty cocktails feature options like the "saketini" and "plumhattan."
