Veggie-driven maki rolls are served in a low-key, serene atmosphere (think birch furniture and peach walls) at this new Japanese restaurant. Some rolls to keep in mind: futo (cucumber, gourd, crab, omelet, spinach and fish powder), natto (fermented beans, scallions and egg yolk in a house sauce) and the vegetable with cucumber, spinach, pickled radish, asparagus and gourd). Hard-to-find sashimi pieces include jelly fish, blow fish and red clam. The sushi rice, or vinaigrette rice, is a nice complement to soups and salads. Try the plum wine ice cream and green tea cake for dessert.
