We had reservations for 8:45. we didn't get seated until 9:15. We got our wine opened but no glasses for almost 15 minutes...that was after i complained. We didn't get appetizers until 10 pm and then sushi at 10:30 pm. The rolls we had were fantastic but the service was TERRIBLE. If you plan on going, be prepared to wait forever...i'm giving it four stars though because the food definitely made up for the lack of service.

Great little BYOB joint. Service is friendly, atmosphere is cozy, and the sushi is well-priced and tasty. Had a very nice experience here.

Shiso is my new favorite sushi place in Chicago! I went there with some friends a few weeks ago and loved the sushi and intimate atmosphere. Definitely try Shiso, but be sure to make a reservation first. It's packed even on weekdays for dinner.

Unless you have a reservation well in advance, don't even bother. They have repeatedly turned me and many of my friends away. The food is average at best but not worth the attitude.

My boyfriend and I went here last night & it is hands down our new favorite sushi spot! Great rolls, great service, great prices, great experience -- and it's BYOB! This place needs to stick around - so go try some Shiso!

We went to Shiso the first week it was open. We were extremely happy with the atmosphere and the food was fantastic! I recommend the Shiso signature roll to everyone! Enjoy!
