Looking for a quick sushi fix? Try this new Evanston spot, where you order at the counter and either carry out or eat in on a Japanese wooden tray. The most unusual maki available is the spicy Mexican roll: hamachi (mild Japanese white fish), cilantro, jalapeno pepper, avocado and spicy sauce. The dragon maki is the most popular, with shrimp tempura layered with eel and avocado. For dessert, mochi (ice cream balls wrapped in pounded rice) come in green tea, red bean, coffee and mango.

Great value, great food! Try the sumo godzilla - WOW! We've been eating here since it opened and it is still the best deal on the North Shore!
