Lame decor, TERRIBLE service and tired clientele...... Go here if you want to be treated like crap by the lowest common denominator.

I have been to Ra as a last resort for more than 5 times because other restaurants were full up.
The food is alright, nothing to write home about. Actually to be honest, not great, slightly below average. The salmon has been burnt a couple of times but not badly, and their dumplings taste stale. It's like the chef hurriedly threw together the ingredients. It just doesn't hang together.
The service is not good. One waiter in particular, very rudely brought us our check before we asked for it. He just thrust it under our noses which I thought was Extremely rude. I could not believe how impolite he was. Needless to say, he did not get a good tip from us.
If you want a yuppy atmosphere with rock music and retro 80s or 90s music/alternative music and you don't care about the quality of the food and are rushed for time, then I guess this place is for you.
But I love my food and I am a food connoisseur so this place does not rank on my favorite list at all. They don't come close.

Was there over this past weekend and had a BLAST!! We where there this baset Tuesday and there were that many people there at all. My friend and I had been waiting to get sushi in the city ever since we knew we were going to visit Chicago. I has did some research and I found RA on a few random sits and I'm so glad that we went. We ordered everything that we thought sounded good. The rolls were AMAZING, the noodle dish that I got was HOT, and I also get a shrimp salad and it was pretty tasty. They only thing that we both didn't like was the crabe spring rolls, but I did however like the sause. AND it you are a BIG GREEN tea freak like I am you will LOVE theirs. I don't know whats in it was it is SWEET!

I went to RA Sushi Saturday night. We only waited about 15 minutes for a table. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. They had a Sake Bomb special for only $5.50 which included a 22 oz Japanese beer and a little bottle of Sake containing about three shots. Our server told us the traditional way to do the Sake Bomb and it was so much fun! The sushi was amazing and very reasonably priced. For drinks, two single rolls, and a sushi sampler we paid just under $60. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but very nicely decorated. It was a wonderful experience! I will definitely be back!!!

My fiance and I frequently dine at Ra for their wonderful, cheap happy hour specials. The sushi is always fresh and the spinach gyoza is delish. Try the crazy monkey roll, it's not on the happy hour menu but it's worth the $10! Their sesame wings are great also. However, one time our wing dish wasn't heated all the way through.

I went here last night. It was ok the spicy tuna was too salty and not enough flavor. I also had a roll that had a pesto sauce that was very bland. Service was very good the place has a cool look, no problems there however I was not impressed with the food for the gold coast prices.

My fiance and I were heartbroken when our favorite sushi place closed. We decided to try Ra after stumbling on it while walking around. we tried a few rolls are were hooked. we loved it so much, we came back the next day. we didnt eat much that day so we could order as much sushi possible! must have the Las Vegas, New Zealond, Gojira, and Crazy monkey to name a few! to our surprise, they have another restuaruant in palm beach...we're going next weekend.
great service, great atmosphere, awesome music selection. definately worth it!

Probably one of the worst sushi restaurants ever. The food was so bad I could not even finish, the appetizers were over cooked and the chicked was extremely tough and dry. The drinks were not even that good. The only thing that was good was the service.

Good food. Horrible service. Although the servers were friendly, they did not provide adequate service. We waited forever for our food as we watched other tables with more people come and go.
Report This Reviewthis was one of the worst experiences ever! Everything was overpriced. The food was too bland on some and way too spicy on others. We waited for a long time to get our food. Would not suggest going to this place.
